| | 1960 Pontiac Ventura Hello all,
I have a question about the 1960 Ventura.
What are the production numbers on the 1960 line of Pontiacs (especially the Ventura or Catalina ) ?
I am looking for an online site that has this as PHS in not an option at the moment or if anyone can point me to some informative websites.
If anyone knows about 1960 Ventura facts and specifications I would love to hear anything you know or have on it.
Many thanks in advance!

| | The Ventura trim package was first introduced in 1960 on the Pontiac Catalina four-door Vista sedan and two-door hardtop. The package included exterior identification, deluxe wheel covers, a sport steering wheel, and distinctive tri-tone seats done in Morrokide.
1960 Pontiac Catalina Production Numbers
4-door sedan 72,650
4-door vista 32,710
2-door sport sedan 25,504
2-door hardtop 27,496
2-door convertible 17,172
4-door 6p station wagon 21,253
4-door 9p station wagon 14,149
Hope that helps you some? | | | | Newbie Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 3

| | 1960 Pontiac Ventura Hi JC,
Thanks for the response.
I appreciate your info.
Would you happen to know how to decode the VIN and Cowl Tag?
Many thanks again,

Peter | Maybe? I would need the numbers... As Pontiacs prior to 1964 can be a bit complicated to decipher... If you like just send me a PM if you don't want it on a live forum.

| | Hi JC,
Thanks for the response JC, and I apologize for not getting back to you sooner.
I think the deal has fallen through for the old Pontiac.
Its a shame really, but sometimes thats the way it goes.
Again, thanks for all your help, sincerely.

Peter | Sorry, to hear about the deal falling through... But keep your head up and eyes open there always another Pontiac just around the corner. Hopefully given a little time you will find another that works out...
All the Best,
JC | | | | | |
