This is the last night for the Solstice/GXP to race. This started as a 6 week series on SPEED TV. The payoff for the winner is $100K and the chance to drive the Pontica-power race car in next years 24 Hours at Daytona. This started with 10 wannhabees, give them each a Solstice GXP-Mean and a crate frull of performance parts and the chance to prove what they have both on and off the track. They had to find a crew chief, assemble a racing team and sell a sponsor on paying it all. Has been some great racing but boy do I cringe when they bang up those beautiful cars.
