I've recently installed an upgrade to our message board that will give you the local weather from whatever city you specify.

Setting Up Your City: You MUST do this in order to receive local weather updates.

First:
Goto your User CP. On the left side of the page you should see a section called Settings and Options links such as "Edit Signature, Edit Profile, Edit Options, are in this window. Under the "User Profile Picture" link you should see a link that says Edit Weather Options.

Second:
You need to get the weather location ID for your city, you can search for your weather ID by entering your city in the Find Your Location ID by City box.

Third:
Click the "Search Cities" button and wait for it to display the results. Getting Multiple Results for each city is NOT uncommon. Just click whichever result looks to be correct.

Fourth:
Click "Save Changes" located directly above the Find Your Location ID by City.


Your weather information can be viewed on the bottom of the forum homepage, down by where it shows users who are currently logged in.
