There's little info available that I know of.
However I can tell you this The 66 Ventura was basically a Catalina and for all practical purposes it was a Catalina. The Ventura was more of a trim option that if ordered automatically replaced some of the traditional markings, uphosltery, badges and etc, of a Catalina. Think of it as a Catalina with Bonneville upgrades... Interestingly the primary feature of the Ventura option was Tri-tone upholstery, with matching tri-tone door panels.
Highly rare but the 8 lug wheel option was avaliable during the time of the 1966 Ventura. It's of no advantage other than talking points amoung car people. The were seriously disliked by the public and had isses of warping. So, even the cars that came factory with them where quickly switched over to 5 lug... It's rare to see an 8 lug still in operation.
