they usually sit right around 200*, and it doesnt do much, just keeps it a bit cooler, i have DHP on my car (soon to be powrtuner w00t!) so my fans run on high once it hits 187* anyways, and run for 2 minutes after keyoff if the temp is about 187* (in FL it always is though).
