For those of you who know the area of Apopka Vineland between Conroy Winderemere Road. and Wallace Road, this is where it happened.


I was going down the road tonight, maybe an hour or so ago when a vibrating started in the steering wheel. Then I thought I had a flat so within 100 feet or so I was in the left turn lane to get off the road. As I was turning/pulling into the neighborhood I heard a scraping then a large thud.

Now my STOCK front bumper is torn up where the bolts were for the body kit.


I get out of my to find my front body kit lip is halfway laying on the ground. I used some rope to tie the bumper up to get it home. I took the body kit lip off and I'm going to be taking it to the body shop tomorrow to tear them a new one.

I'm going to be going in the body shop today. I feel sorry for them already. This is not going to be a fun day for Massey Cadillac.

And if you're wondering, yes I'm discouraging going to the dealership. This is the FIFTH!! time I have taken my car back due to their screw up. Not including the first time I took the car there.

I have to go in on Monday and talk with the guy who has been handling all the times I've brought the car in (I think this is #6 now ). They are also going to pull the file on when they painted just the front lip (last time I brought it in).

The part that made me furious, with a sarcastic tone he told me they put his A mechanic on this. I reminded him that an "A" mechanic would NOT use washers that are slightly larger than the bolt head, on a FENDER. That's why they have these miracles called FENDER washers..How strange.. lol
