I have an exhaust leak that is apparently coming from the passenger side header (fumes and noise on that side). The headers on the car look to be 20 plus years old and probably need to be replaced. Does anyone have any recommendations for headers that will fit a 1972 350 Pontiac? I am thinking of a Flowmaster or Borla exhaust to go with (I like a little rumble).

Price an object?
Cheap- Summit racing white box, they are made by hooker they are 4 tube and bolt right onto your motor, I like em because you can with some effort get all of the bolts into them. appx 99.00

Expensive- Dougs Headers- Performance Years- appx 500.00 but you get what you pay for, they are coated and they fit perfectly, also much larger dia. but that will probably not matter much for your 350

exhaust...go with the flows, or Magnaflow for an upgrade, this is not a late model so forget the borla
I can suggest a shop if you want to have the system redone...

I have Flowmaster on my Firebird and am very pleased with it. Thanks for the tips! I have a shop here in Brandon that I have used in the past and will probably use for this project.
