Summer Cookout?

Hey everyone, I've been thinking about doing cook out day at a park some time next summer. I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in this. I know of a few parks we could hold it at, and I'm sure there are plenty more around the city.

We could have things like a miniature car show, raffle, games, 50-50, as well as club photos and such.

Since this is so far away I don't expect to get much feedback for a while. I've been talking about this with Pyro, and we might look at having some Grand Ams from GrandAmGT.com come out as well. This would NOT be a "club only event." This would be open to any one who wants to come, however, there will be a charge for food most likely.

Any ideas, suggestions, or comments are welcome

This has been discussed before and it was suggested to do it at a Track. Maybe Lakeland? In that way some members who wanted to do a run down the track could and those who didn't could just watch and enjoy the cookout...

My suggestion is sooner rather than later, by August I cant drive my cars, and I think most Vintage owners would agree.
I would wholeheartedly support the Strip choice, Bithlo or Lakeland... Its fun even if you only do it once.
