OK I am going to make the call on this now. Meeting time will be 7:45, leave time will be 8:00 sharp. Meeting location will be behind the hotel at the SW corner of I4 and 50.

We will hook up with the group when you come off I4 at Hwy 27 and head south. you all should be there by about 8:30 or so, If I know what cars to look for we can join the group. As you head south we will be waiting the new Polk Outpost 27 (Polk County Visitors Center) 1/2 mile south of I4 on the right as you head south on Hwy27, It looks like kind of a log cabin kind of thing. As you pass honk if you see a 68 Firebird Convertible and we will join the group.

I may bring a couple of co-workers that are Pontiac people, Joel has a GTO and Steve has a Firebird. I will not be online friday the 18th or Saturday the 19th, so if there are any changes to the leave time could someone call my cell (863) 255-4375 so I can tell Joel and Steve. Steve will meet the group at I4 and 50 and Joel will be with me at the Polk Outpost on 27. I will take about 30 min to get to Hwy 27 and another 30 min to Cypress Gardens via 27 and Cypress Gardens Blvd, that will bypass down town Winter Haven.

The plan was to take I-4 to Hwy 557 (Old Grade Rd.) then follow it on into Winter Haven, allowing the carvan to see the greater downtown district of the beautiful city of Winter Haven . However, that plan was never set in stone... But if everyone is cool with it then Hwy 27 will be just fine too? That just means we will be getting off of I-4 a little sooner and taking Hwy 27 south until we reach State road 540 (Waverly Rd), then make a turn to the west and come into Cypress G from the back side.

I would say the most express route would be best, I-4 to 27.
