| Alright, well talked to Patrick at Tijuana tonight. Heres the word:
He will lay out appetizers on tables so that anyone that wants to snack can. No discount on food, but that is something we can work on if we have future shows there. He talked to the owner of the plaza and they are ok with blocking off spots for our cars. They dont have any cones, but he is going to check w/ the plaza owner to see if they do. He may also be able to get something put on the marque that says there will be a car show. As for the band, he said they are awesome and do cover songs. He can talk to them about coming in and playing while the show is going on, it would benefit them anyways.
They are interested in starting a monthly meet/show there. They would hand out fliers in ALL their to-go bags and advertise at the store about the show to help bring in more people. This would help spread the word about the club. And of couse we would help do equal coverage for them. If we are interested in doing awards, they will help do plaques/trophies, and also do something like gift cards for 1st-3rd or something. I said that Im not in a position to speak for the club on setting up monthly shows, so on saturday a club officer will need to talk to either Patrick or Fred about this.
Also, what time are we planning on being at Tijuana? I need to call and let them know so they can make sure they have plenty of staff. I was unsure of a time when i went there tonight, so I mentioned roughly 4-6pm, but I need to call and let him know a more exact time.
If I remember anything else, Ill post it up ASAP.
Edit- Dont count me out of this yet. We might try to make some of the day with you guys, but still not 100% sure
