Yea kill the traction control... (SLP sells a device that keeps it from coming on unless you activate it to come on... Now that being said the SLP device does work on the 01-02 cars despite what you may have heard. However, it sometimes doesn't work as it should if you start and shut your car off over a few short periods of time. These quick starts and off seem to foul it up from doing what it's suppose to do. I think it's because there is some residual power still left in the system and it won't allow it to work as it should. In those rare instances all you have to do is click the button and the traction control is off once again.)
Nevertheless, I do use the traction control whenever I get caught out in a rain storm, otherwise the thing stays off.
